Over Heidelberg
ALLIANCE, Ohio - The No. 3 Mount Union football team won in
dominant fashion, 52-10, over Heidelberg at home on a perfect Fall day at
Kehres Stadium.

scores, his fourth 100-yard rushing game of his career and second 170+ rushing
game of the season. Echeverry had a highlight-reel 91-yard touchdown right
before halftime, the fourth-longest run in school history and the longest since
Nate Kmic (who was just inducted into this year's Mount Union M Club Hall of
Fame) scored from 95 yards (the school record) in the 2005 Stagg Bowl win.
Echeverry came in leading the conference in rushing touchdowns. Graduate

all-time in program history. Moore also had two sacks, extending his career
number to 30.5 which stands third all-time in school
history. Junior Kaleb Brown (La Plata, MD/La
Plata) had a game-high 2.5 sacks.
Mount Union
(6-0, 5-0 OAC) scored a touchdown on its first three drives of the game to take
a 21-0 lead, highlighted by the 70-yard pass and catch from Beaudrie to Thomas.
Beaudrie started the game with a six-yard touchdown run, while Echeverry added
a one-yard score. Before halftime, Beaudrie added another touchdown run,
followed by Echeverry's 91-yard dash. Heidelberg

scoreboard with a 36-yard field goal, despite going minus six yards on the
drive.
