AGENDA WEST BRANCH LOCAL SCHOOLS MAY 31, 2012 : Attending this evenings' meeting are board members Terry Criss (President), Earl Trimmer (Vice President), Mikki Kanagy, Lori McLaughlin and John Wallace and Superintendent Scott Weingart.
Highlighting this meeting was the Treasurer's report which predicted a dismal financial road ahead as other area schools are also experiencing. His report showed that average growth from 2006 to 2011 has been a meager 3.49% with little growth in real property valuation projected. Revenue is expected to range between $3.7 million to $3.8 million over the forecast five year period.
The current biennium is projected to result in a decline of 121 students and approximately 165 funded students.
