***AGENDA*** On Wednesday January 4, 2012 the Salem City Schools Board of Education held a re- organization meeting in the Salem High School library.  This was immediately followed by the first 2012 regular meeting.   Board members Nick Bush and Brad Myers traded chairs after Brad Myers was voted in as acting board President.   Board member Andrew Null was voted in as acting Vice President.  In other action it was announced that the Pershing Street brick wall at Reilly Stadium will be torn down during the second week of January.   Confirmation was given that the Reilly Stadium wall rebuild project is alive and well.  Board member Andrew Null indicated the bricks will be saved at an undisclosed location.  During this time Pershing St. traffic will be detoured away from Reilly Stadium.   Superintendent Tom Bratten presented each board member with a commendation for their work on the Salem School Board.   BOARD of EDUCATION WEBSITE
