Canfield City Council Meeting December 7, 2011 : Council met in regular session with executive session last on the agenda. An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to replace old city wide water meters with new meters that will communicate remotely with monitoring equipment and eliminate the need for meter reader personnel to physically view the meters was narrowly passed. Council members Steve Rogers and Daniel Frazzini voted no with Frazzini stating that the City has better uses for the project funds. Council says goodbye to exiting council woman Marleen Belfiore.
